Barbara J. T. Wilson produces her artwork in Lubbock, Texas where she also teaches watercolors in the private sector and the Garden and Arts Center. She incorporates collage and other mixed media in some of her works.
Art has always been an esential part of her life. She has a BA in Art and Psychology. She also has Master hours in Art Therapy and Marriage and Family Therapy. These studies have had a significant influence on her view of life and her artwork. She has worked in the mental health field and Alzheimers facilities using art as a therapeutic tool.
She believes watercolor's fluid movement is much like the flow of life where a planned event can evolve into a soul work and spiritual growth.
