I attended Abilene Christian University where I obtained a BFA Degree, majoring in Art with a minor in Education. Upon graduation I began teaching Art in public school, and have been doing so for 28 years. I am a member of the West Texas Watercolor Association, The Art League of West Texas and Texas Art Education Association.
For the majority of my career I worked in graphite and prismacolor. However, over the last few years I have begun to experiment with pastels, watercolor, gouache and other water media. Favorite subjects are predominantly people, children and horses in everyday activities.
